How do I describe this?
It’s pretty engaging; for the most part, MC solves murders, etc, with help from the ghosts of victims.
There is an ongoing arc, but I have zero clue WTF is going on there, and the story explains almost nothing.
The mystery of the week aspect is brilliant; like a teen detective show, where MC and his bud rescue people or free trapped ghosts.
The larger plot is utter bollocks; someone is behind some events, but who/why/how are just never addressed. MC is aware and seems to just not give a shit, which leads to the reader not being particularly interested either.
Good, but hugely flawed; solid 7/10 at the 30 chap mark.
