if someone only watched tv and they sometimes used closed captions then they will probably think that cc means closed captions, the same thing is said for people who only read mangas like this with crowd control abilities, they will most likely think cc means crowd control, but as someone who reads mangas, and watches a lot of youtube and tv, i get confused if someone just says cc, as it could mean crowd control, closed captions, or something else
