Tbh Daniel and MC have a lot of similarities. They are both attached to their mothers cause they were primary care providers and was with them for the majority of their lives. But unfortunately for Daniel, his mom is a crazy b***h who doesn’t care about him one bit while MC’s mom treasured her more than her own life and happiness. She constantly tells him she loves him/does everything for his sake while caring less about him that for the fart she let out 3 days back. He’s been trained since childhood to follow her instructions and each time he disobeys he’s met with even more abuse. So even if he now knows it is wrong he doesn’t know how to stop or change her. He’s almost fully trained into a puppet and tbh it’d have been far easier for him if he was like his mother.
I hate comments like TypicallyUsual that’s so dumb abuse isn’t black and white, being manipulation is not a sign of weakness. I get that we can say oh why is he sacred but we are not in his place he is trying not to die. He is not a coward or disgusting he is simply being abused. STOP victim blaming, he killed her because of abuse and he is scared not horrible. I know this is an unpopular idea but I feel like it needs to be said.
Daniel is a disgusting human and a coward. I know abuse victims’ actions are based in trauma but that NEVER excuses killing an innocent person. If I were him I’d just ask to be killed instead of killing that lovely woman.
