i think leah is a little naive sometimes, like ishakan is giving her the chance to escape, and he’s shown open vulnerability to her and basically only her, yet she’s still in the turmoil of emotions?
I mean, i do understand. (spoilers) all the brainwashing and trauma has been engraved into her frail mind, and i do try and understand her point of view. except i still am a little annoyed by her.

Also,Leah’s conflict mind at the moment,and in this chapter the king’s behaviour should be expressed as a hint of being brainwashed by Cerdina.But nah,the king just stands in the back,and gets little screen time.Btw,Leah can’t asks Ishakan for help because she can’t trust him completely at the moment-he’s the king of the enemy kingdom afterall,it’s understandable,and there’re hints in previous chapters,Leah might somehow be controlled by Cerdina,that’s why she’s so dedicated to her country,like a puppet.
The manhwa especially in this chapter,skipped a lot of important parts.It didn’t portray the tension between Cerdina,Ishakan and Blaine well.And that part where Ishakan took Leah out of that place…in the novel,it was Leah’s own decision to follow after Ishakan instead of remaining there.It’s true that Ishakan’s grip on Leah’s wrist left a bruise but it was Leah’s own choice.Here,it seems like Ishakan force her.No only in this part,but also in former chapters appear that way so especially when they do the deed.The most important part is Ishakan’s soft changes whenever he interacts with Leah.The way he gently speaks to her,the way he respects all her words,they way he looks at her,the way he treats her like a queen,they way he always give sense of security for her…The manhwa lacks a lot.I hope they will develop as the story continues.
