I don’t think she was glaring at them, seemed like she was trying not to cry. She got invited out by the Marquis, was likely showered in sweet words and made to feel special and then is tossed aside like old news minutes later. Her pride and adherence to proper etiquette are likely what kept her on his arm while he insulted her and crushed whatever romantic dreams she had.
