I can’t figure out how to reply. But I just wanted to say she is not completely dumb for wanting to leave the Clown family. She wants to practice her dark magic which she cannot do in the Clown family or the Academy since shes stuck being watched by either her maid, guardians, teachers, and other students. There might even be magic detectors or something. Its hard to get out to gather materials or even practice. Also shes an illegitimate child so she may be bullied in Academy which would be bothersome for her. She doesn’t know how long she would be sent there for. It could be until she comes of age and she wants to be able to leave earlier than that. With the orphanage, they’ll take care of her basic needs and most likely wouldn’t care too much for her. Even if there are rules, its probably easier to sneak away and break them than in an academy.
Sheria is so complicated, the academy has dorm life, rules, and a curfew? that was her reason not to go as if an orphanage doesn’t have dorm life, even stricter rules and curfews as well. Being that she’s from the Dukes family she’d probably be treated somewhat better at the academy and have a high quality of life than in an orphanage. Plus they’d still send her money so she could easily buy the things she needs for her magic.
