This is extremely interesting but beware: you will be infuriated by Haluk/Gunker, for he is a true villain, created from a broken child’s soul (his own, he was ‘programmed’ for mayhem). He’s the obsessive type, and will stop at nothing to possess FL.
Unlike 2nd ML, Leon, Haluk wants to possess her, it’s his weird way of loving her. He murdered her parents and his adoptive dad, he’s got thousands’ of people’s blood on his hands. He’s unapologetic.
There’s a lot of smut but it’s not the main aspect, the story is really really interesting especially as of chap 45 where it’s revealed Myobe has Aetherial powers.
If you want to follow this twisted story (I still have hope that as lord of the dead Haluk will be able to bring back everyone from Proserpina in the end…), be prepared to be utterly frustrated as ML really rapes FL. There’s no other word for it and it happens more than once. Almost every time they do it it’s not consensual altho author wants to make it look like it is ok just bc she cums… But no, it’s rape.
If you can get past this, you’ll discover a story really really worth reading!!🤌🏻 And the aaaaart, Haluk is irresistible

After chp 1 I couldn’t take anything else seriously 🫠 it was a legit rape scene, and it ruined the rest of the story. I tried to ignore it and read past that, but art also isn’t the best and the disgusting feeling of that scene kept coming whenever that guy appeared.
I guess author was appealing for a dark flag kind of feeling, and for whoever likes that. I hate it so I’m out 🙋♀️ (had to write this review cuz the cover keeps making me open this)

Interesting worldbuilding, a lot of unique potential.
The storyline so far is not bad, yet a bit unrealistic and rushed. Our FL is displaying groundbreaking research and engeneering skills while still underage (I am referring to the soul modifikation) on top of good fighting abilities and medicinical knowlege without a mentor, school or even parents to support her – all due to the few books available in the slums she read trying to please a crush? There is a lot of backstory missing.
Also, while I don’t mind smut in general, it seems a bit out of place in this context to me. Maybe the story is meant to serve certain kinks (but what a waste of this interesting worldbuilding, I would like to read a good storyline in this setting)
Might be worth to check on again, once the storyline has progressed, With updates every few month, I would leave it alone for some time.
