Yup, not just a “little” trauma…

Actually, I think. its Dahee who ‘imposed’ herself on Seungwon, not the other way around.
.
And I think Seungwon actually likes the MC, but since he is super-considerate and she hasn’t confessed ’till now, he naturally assumed he would loose her altogether if he ever confessed so he kept her xlose to himself under the pretext of friendship.
Also Dahee is sharp.
I think she has took notice of them both hving feelings for one another and has initiated confessing so as to prevent them from confessing. Since Seungwon is the kindhearted type, and did not see any opportunities coming with the MC he accepted Dahee’s confession.
His hesitation for revealing their relationship to the MC stems from his own feelings for her.
I’m still not sure if he did overhear her saying she liked him, but I’m sure Dahee is doing her utmost to prevent them from confessing to each other.
Feeling so sad for them both. Specially so for Seungwon, since he is going to loose his first love to his brother over some misunderstanding.
Personally I think its the worst when 2nd MLs trun out to be the 2nd only because of their kindness and consideration.

That is not a little trauma that’s a big one, seeing a person kill themselves for you must be really traumatic 🙁
