In order to fully captivate them the Player/FL needs INTERACTIONS with the MLs to reach certain percentage to have happy endings with them.
The charm worked, but with less intensity because they are male leads? plus they are thinking with their brain instead of dick, so that’s one more thing.
The charm hasn’t worked I think, it’s just because they’re the fl and ml and they’re bound to have a connection like that. It’s just the setting of the story I believe
