not really, this was actually really important because the entire time dokja was still persistent that he was a “character” or atleast not as important as he thinks. the entire time he yearns for survival, he really thinks nothing will change once he dies. in fact, the only reason he pushed on with wanting to be aligned with this world was after the banquet arc. before that, he always thought he was somehow disposable – tldr: dokja is such an unreliable narrator its frustrating so him meeting the fourth wall and its citizen/(s) i totally forgot if he had one at this point or two )) was important of a story…. (spoiler: and a great closure for his moms story line)
