they really shoehorned in the “i prommy it’s not gayyyyy” no no it’s extremely gay and you’re just cowards. but even if it weren’t, the shoehorned explanation didn’t even need to be there. there exists platonic love and indeed more than one character assumes dokja HAS no romantic love interest and so it’s gotta be whoever he loves the most platonically. there was nothing preventing it from being platonic with joonghyuk either, which for me makes it all the more obvious that the coverup was because the authors were desperately trying to beat the gay allegations. that or the original plan was to have it be gay and then their host website threatened to remove the title if they didn’t backpedal
For those who don’t know, in ORV a “person” actually just means what story they possess. Kim Dokja read TWSA for 10 years, it’s his favourite story. Yoo Joonghyuk has the TWSA story so he ends up killing him.
