MY READING HISTORY
You don't have anything in histories

Yeah…well, nothing new. I understand how is to be not liked because of looking like one of the parents. My sister doesn’t like me because of me looking like my father. After my parents died, I was raised by my father’s mother who hated all of her daughter’s in law. It wasn’t easy for me either, I was neglected by her and my grandmother because of their stupid hate. Sometimes I still wonder how I’m still normal on the head😂.

That was it?? THAT WAS THE PETTY EXCUSE CHAE-AH’S FAMILY HAD FOR HATING ON HER??? BECAUSE HER GENES MADE HER LOOK LIKE HER MOM???
THEY ABUSED A LITERAL CHILD ALL BECAUSE THEY COULDN’T DO IT ON AN ADULT!!
The sister is even worse, i hate her more than ever? They both lost their parents and yet she never felt sorry nor stood up against that kind of discrimination. She only acted empathetic but in reality wanted nothing to do with Chae-ah. People like her are the worst; they act “good” only to make themselves feel better but when the time comes to take action, they hide away like cowards

I was about to rant on this chapter, but you said everything needed to be said. I knew Chae Ah’s past would have more sad parte to it, but this… This brought a tear to my eye. Btw, I still haven’t checked the genre but I definitely know supernatural is part of it. But for something so supernatural, I know that a lot of readers can relate to Chae Ah’s childhood which makes it all the more sad. Chae Ah deserves so much better.
