I was thinking the same thing. I’ve been giving her the benefit of the doubt since I don’t even think she knows she died, just that she went back in time. Plus she is going to have to break 20/30 years worth of habits if she never realised her lover was always manipulating her/pulling the strings.
I think too many people are used to FL that know they died and forget the whole ‘going back in time’ thing is very unlikely to be a trope or even heard of in her universe so all the stupid things she does are likely things at least some of us would do.
