Idk I’m reading between the lines here bc the author hasn’t explicitly shown all the instances of suppression. I’m seeing the outcomes but it’s very hard to advance when you are blocked at every turn, even the author seems to say that she’s stupid but what could she have done?
1. not allowed to learn anything but the basics
2. not allowed to meet anyone outside the house
3. had to wait 3 yours for her brother to be given access to unsupervised education so that she could sneak in to educate herself
4. not encouraged to do anything by anyone until she met the etiquette teacher
I get how she had like a hard past but seriously I haven’t seen a character that went back to time thats as dumb as her. She wasted 3 years doing nothing, she’s already a grown up inside, acted like she’s better than her brother cause “she went back in time”. She’s expecting to be the heir without doing shit.
Keep asking whats the difference between her and his brother? Took her so long to realize that the brother is smarter than her and have more potential. Anyone would choose the brother to be heir by looking how dumb she is. I know she didnt get good education but some stuff doesnt even need education to see how stuff are. She wasn’t even trying to get better until she got told off by the male lead.
I think Rudbeckia is bitter about her because she killed him, but I also think he knows she was just a puppet for Storini and he knew she became like that after her brother died, which is why he saved her brother and tried to get closer to her.
I also think he doesn’t love her yet, but he feels great about messing with Storini’s plans ?
