MY READING HISTORY
You don't have anything in histories

I’m begining to feel this story is kind of dumb. FL already knows Storoni manipulated him in the past and that he’s still trying to do so again. She knows how her father thinks of her and about all women in general. Like ML said, she’s done little to nothing to change her situation and still, she keeps on losing time playing with Storoni, trying to see if she can manitupate him in the same way he did to her… while not taking the chance to form a good relationship with the ML, who has the power to help her get what she wants but instead, she’s only being rude and getting on his nerves.
Now, on the translation work… Why do they keep messing up the titles of the nobles and the way to call them. For example, writting “duchess” instad of “duke”, when the one they are reffering to is a man. Also, the translation team keep on calling FL’s brother as “prince”, when his father is but a mere count. People in those days would’ve colled him “lord” at best. ML, on the other hand, could’ve been considered a prince indeed, because he’s the son of a duke or they could’ve reffered to him as “your grace” but, not “your highness”, since he’s of high nobility but not royalty.
For some reason this is really hard to read at times… maybe I’m too picky, I’m sorry!

Her father has been suppressing her for her whole life, if that hadn’t happened when she could have been amazingly talented, we just don’t know

I really want to like it but I just can’t like the FL. I understand why her dad wouldn’t choose her as his heir. Her brother seems smarter than her even though he doesn’t like to study. They are literally teachers of royalty so it isn’t about just holding a title when you are the heir. She hasn’t even thought about what that position entails. That is exactly how people become tyrants. She wants the power because doesn’t care about the actual responsibilities that come with it. No wonder she was so easily manipulated.

Bro it’s not like she wants the power for no reason. She doesn’t want to be sold off. Women are their father’s possessions and then they become their husband’s. Who in their right mind would want to live all their life like that? Growing up ignored by her father only to be sold off to a man she doesn’t even like. Maybe she doesn’t have the natural talent, but she’s working hard and in the long run working hard beats natural talent.

Maybe she’d have a clue about things if he gave her the same chances he gives her brother. Everything the dad has gone has been to her detriment, he’s not even allowing her to learn the most basic things for a ‘good’ noble wife, let alone for her to try and prove herself the heir.
I wouldn’t be surprised if she originally only went after the title just to prove herself worthy of her father’s attention. Don’t forget she lived to be in her mid 30’s and so going back to being a helpless child was likely not fun for her.
