@MorriganX I fully agree here. The main antagonist is that reprobate of a count and I have a feeling that Avio and Marlene may have become more decent people had it not been for what they were exposed to and how they were raised. Honestly couldn’t help but feel a bit for both of them and their mother but a lot of what the kids went through, especially Avio, was brought on themselves.
Unpopular opinion but I feel bad for Marlene’s/Avios mother , she was most likely in an arranged marriage and had to deal with all types of abuse from the disgusting count and having to contract probably various StDs that only thing she really cared about was her children and even at that she was still powerless to keep them safe and to teach them property how to treat people. I would like a reincarnation story just for her. Avío can still go to hell
