Well, it’s a good thing that the female lead didn’t had to sleep with her first husband who obviously despised her. That would have been an even worse story! Her parents-in-law were horrible, so I get that she never told them about her husband’s refusal of marital / conjugal duties – but luckily it looks like she met these people rather rarely. Soooo – surely the fl had more things to do other than walking around in a dim-lit mansion looking all gloomy? If we never even learn about what her job and hobbies were, then it’s clear that this whole story is going to be boringly shallow as well.
