No More Regrets, Just Kill Me

you gotta go through the bull to get to the shit.
this is just a mess of a story using an artist who deserves more than this worthless story. its just drama after drama with interesting ideas mashed poorly into a colossal disarray of words.

they made the main character forgive everyone that mistreated her and say its “because she wants to forgive herself in the end for not treating her right” like shut up that does not make sense but they have to do that because she wouldn’t end up with that terrible excuse of a character that basically only has the arc of “i was brainwashed to hate her” and nothing else. he doesn’t do anything substantial to help her besides at the last act so the whole story is just torture porn of a woman that didn’t deserve any of it.

the worst is the whole motivation of the villain, which boils down to “im jealous and have an inferiorty complex that you can experience stuff that i cant” which wouldn’t be that terrible of an reason if not how horribly that they written it to not include the true horror of feeling less than human with a constant reminder that you can truly never be happy. in this case they just use that as an all to excuse that hes just was born evil and he tortures his only family to feel alive.
the only villain that was truly interesting was the princess. she was stupid as hell still, but her motives was something that actually recontextualized her whole character. i enjoyed the reveal that she was a lesbian and as such being royalty her lover was killed right in front of her. she then fell in love with the female lead because she reminded her of the first love she experienced.
this was an interesting reveal and actually worked pretty well. doesnt mean shes not stupid as hell, it just means she was had more complexities than the main characters.

and for the main character we view from, its safe to say that she was a jumbled disorder of themes that never worked well with each other. she was an mentally ill woman who never trusted anyone but her own talents, however she is a saint who forgives anyone even the ones who tried to kill because she believes it better that they hate her instead of themselves.
i think thats an engaging idea for a character to be, but because of how shes written nothing works at all. she comes off more shallow than she should have been. she should have underwent an arc where she learns that she can be angry at others and hate them , that she can actually put herself first over other people because she too has worth beyond her voice.
but she doesnt. she just suffers and suffers and suffers then says “lets forget the past and how i was literally tortured as well as killed by the people that surrounded me. i must move on from it not because i want to become better but for love”.
girl dont pmo omg the only decision she can make is either suicide or help others that is it.

im not even gonna waste my time writing about the male lead. i dont recommend this story at all. the drama is not even fun to watch its just seeing this poor mentally ill woman get abused.
