Technically, it can happen. If the damage done to the uterus was severe enough, a pregnancy can become unsustainable. The tissue can become too fragile and unable to support the baby long enough to carry to term, even leading to miscarriages. The problem with that situation is that it would be obvious to the woman over the years, since her period would be much more painful or bleed much more. So yes, it is possible for it to happen, although it wouldn’t be barren as such. But it would be impossible for the person themselves not to notice it, and considering that Adelia already said that she tried to heal her body with her magic, then it’s obvious that she already took care of that.

Maybe this whole thing about being barren (I don’t think the fl still is though because of her healing abilities) will at least force the prince to distance himself from the female lead … but as much as I’d like for her to find a nicer man (who is kinder from the very beginning), I don’t believe there will actually ever be another “real” male lead than the prince in this story 🙁
