   This is… Oh my God I’m riveted. A few spoilers, mostly character analysis though. What I’ve gathered after my brain melted from horrible translations,on another site.

   The synopsis is kind of bad, so just to make things clear, Arin is not the Chairman’s daughter. No one is related by blood here. At first I thought that Arin felt romantic love towards the Stepmother, but reading up to chapter 55 on another site has made me reevaluate their relationship and see it in a more toxic-dependency type of way.
   .
   To the Stepmother, Arin was an existence that she could blame for her dysfunctional family. She suffered quite a bit of unfair treatment due to her husband was an asshole bum stuck on his first love that randomly dropped off the grid. I’d be pissed as well if my husband adopted the child of his first love for no reason other than “She must have left her for me.” But the Stepmother takes it too far by emotionally abusing Arin(Or tries to because Arin COMPLETELY misunderstands) The Stepmother isolates and degrades Arin’s intelligence, leading to her son’s doing the same.

   Arin was abandoned by her absolute BITCH of a biological mother, who Arin gets her ability from. It only works on nen, but once Arin kisses a man, they will fall head-over-heels, completely in love with her for exactly 30 minutes. Arin speculates that the more she kisses a particular guy, the more of an impact that the essential brainwashing will have on the target(But this theory hasn’t been tested as of Chap 55). I must mention something, Arin is a genius, a business master… Thanks to the Stepmother severely limiting her education, people naturally believe Arin to be stupid, but she’s far from it. Due to Arin’s bitch mother abandoning her when she was around 5ish, and because she was living with such a crazy, selfish psychopath, Arin naturally longs for a mother, a real mother, and she has deluded herself into believing the Stepmother to be such a figure.

   The Brothers are meh, kind of showcases for Arin’s ability, but you’re left wondering why it doesn’t seem to work on the Eldest brother. We are made aware of an attempt made on Arin’s life by the Second Eldest Son, and how the Third Eldest viewed Arin as entertainment due to her unfiltered personality. Now Sion.. I can’t really figure him out, but their dynamic is very interesting.

   I won’t go into too much detail about my man Jo-Shik/Cho-Sik but he becomes Arin’s fiance as she chases after a business deal in order to gain independence.

   I’m so fucking hooked, I wish I could find a novel.

   So FL will know about he ability that if she kiss someone they get under her control for like 30mins and that’s how her mom was able to do all that with her dad so to grab stepmom’s attention FL use her ability on bros but even if she won’t it seems they like her regardless

    Basically the gist is from the summary alone…..

    Mc wants to smash mommy, but instead of getting mommy’s attention she got her stepbrothers which she doesn’t want to smash with.
