We could use a new ML tbh. He does things without communicating and makes decisions on Preah’s behalf. His love doesn’t come off as love, it comes off as obsession. He’s not considering Preah’s feelings at all. She may have feelings for him but he’s not really creating a situation/environment where those feelings can grow; it’s like for him, marriage first then the feelings can follow afterwards.
Their parents are determined to defeat the rebels, but their “children” are now adults and the story of the marriage cannot last forever with their descendants ignorant. Sad for the FL, who has cherished the idea that they are a family. Thanks, Hari.
I have mixed feelings about the male lead. Like, I understand he loves preah and it’s possible she has feelings for him but he didn’t even ask for her opinion. He alone decided to go to war and marry preah, she had no choice whatsoever. She was never asked if she wanted to marry him or pursue a relationship. To me, Millian just seems a little possessive and immature. He shouldn’t push his feelings on someone who doesn’t even see him as a man. His logic is “since i have feelings for you, you cannot date another man” like dude give her a choice, give her a decision in the matter. Preah is terribly naïve and assumes no one has ulterior motives, which is why she overstepped the boundaries causing home boy to catch feelings.
And at the same time I like him because he’s handsome and he’s obviously the male lead of this manhwa. I know his character is supposed to be psychotic and obsessive over preah so i don’t want to overanalyze anything and call him a bad male lead.
I’m thinking that they don’t want to involve their children to keep them safe. They mentioned that other people who tried to stop the rebels were killed. And not just that single person or a couple of people, they wiped out the entire family. Strong or not, they are worried that their investigation will be for nought and that their children will be killed.
