As the sole heir to the throne she would not be sent to another country to be married off! It would be unheard of! So that would give the king waaaaay more leverage on the conditions he could set and it would be very much in his favor. Instead, if she were to get married her husband would be sent TO her as a prince consort.
Not to mention they could just send resources instead since they are prospering because of the blessing. Makes absolutely no sense. I can’t get over it. 😣
