first off i never used the word misogyny so i dont know what your talking about
and secondly, THEY ARE PRACTICALY SIBLINGS. do you know every single little detail about your siblings life? of course they feel comfortable sharing a bad if the FL views the ML as a brother/ childhood friend
thirdly, having a concubine was incredibly normalised back then. choosing a concubine was just as normal as choosing what to eat for breakfast, which is why every single character in this manhwa isn’t outraged at the idea of a concubine.
it is on the ML to communicate properly, not the FL. he is the one with feelings towards the ML, the FL does not have feelings towards the ML ( i’m talking about the start of the manhwa ) so why should she have to talk with him? she doesn’t owe him anything. and there’s not a single scenario in the manhwa where the FL acts stupid, she’s smart and knows how to handle the situation- she’s well aware of her position and has pretty good relations with everyone, the only exception being the people who talk poorly about her but even there it’s just GOSSIP. if your in a high position your bound to be talked about, why should she need to defend herself against gossip when she’s above them? the FL is also capable of defending herself, she’s strong.
again the only problem i see readers have with the ML is that she doesn’t like him and isn’t interested in finding out who his supposed crush is, which again she doesn’t need to pry into it; it’s up to the ML to be open about his feelings. He’s liked her for years, he should have been the one to talk with her about their future, not the FL.

how hard is it for FL to find out who his imaginary crush was?? after all this time she don’t know her best friend?? did she ever saw him meeting someone?? exchanging letters with someone?? caring about someone?? did she ever though why’d he’d be okay with sharing bed with her if he likes someone else?? observed him when it comes to her??
MLs storming out calling her stupid left her clueless (and his reaction makes sense anyone would be mad if their crush whom they have been since childhood brings up such a thing) does him reacting that way not gave her a hint that he don’t want ANYONE?? like really?? for those crying about communication, it was FL who went on to orchestrate stupid event without him giving proper green light, without considering him opinion when it’s about him, and she cries about I did it for you?? when she knows all well she don’t like it and he haven’t asked for it?? just cuz he didn’t refused her word to word doesn’t mean she can go ahead with stupidity since he didn’t gave green light either, and really how hard is it to read someone this close to you?? when it comes to rejecting you can reject stuff in many ways just like ML didn’t saying “I don’t need a concubine” is not the only way to show disapproval, unless FL possess intelligence of an infant, she’s the queen of this nation that much smartness is expected of her, she should no better to catch on things, she didn’t give it time either did the event right away the hell…. like talk to him properly, neither did she consider the consequences of bringing concubine……

It’s adorable so far. Don’t know why people are hating on it. Stories need conflict.
If you don’t like a story where the conflict is “she doesn’t know how she feels romantically about ML and is a little insecure” then that’s a personal taste.
The villainess is a bit one note so far. Other than that it’s a bit of fluff, it’s a bit of drama.

so all of a sudden poor communication is okay because the ML did it? calling the FL stupid is rude, not that someone who throws around curse words would know, but it’s rude. and then he stormed out like a CHILD. he didn’t even bother talking to her and asking why she thinks he should have a concubine. and just a reminder, communication goes BOTH WAYS. if the ML didn’t want a concubine he should’ve outright told the FL that, his wording saying “i don’t need a concubine” doesn’t imply that he doesn’t want one, just that he doesn’t NEED one, the FL could’ve made the assumption that he didn’t need a concubine because she would carry the heir; and either way she wouldn’t know for sure because the ML acted like a baby and didn’t communicate properly about his feelings towards the FL.

the word “misogyny” is losing it’s weight ppl be using such heavy word so casually it’s significance going down down down….. well this story is one of those in which FL is “unaware” of her feelings…. they way she bought up concubine topic was not okay… and ML did objected called her stupid and left, does that looks like approval?? he never asked her for such a thing, heir is a serious matter any royalty is aware of it’s significance you can’t be just casually bringing idea of concubine like that since you never know who all can turn their back against you, instead of properly communicating or facing her feelings when she was well aware she didn’t wanted to bring in concubine she orchestrate shit, been with MLs for years yet she got 0 clue abt him??? seriously??? they’ve never been apart so how come she won’t even have a shit clue abt his imaginary crush?? she don’t know who he used to meet? or he ain’t the type of guy who’d share bed with another woman whilst he is crushing on someone else??

can i just let everyone know that the only problems people have with the FL is that 1. she doesn’t like the ML romantically 2. wants to choose a concubine for the ML. NONE OF WHICH ARE BAD. yes in the first chapter she wanted to choose a concubine for the ML and went ahead without talking to him properly BUT DID HE OBJECT? DID HE TELL HER THAT HE DIDNT WANT CONCUBINES? DID HE TELL HER THAT HE LIKED HER? the answer is NO. why is it on the FL to communicate but the ML doesn’t need to? the FL backs off when the ML says he doesn’t want a concubine, this was after she already invited them to the party and she couldn’t really uninvited them, could she? and she interjects when a potential concubine tries to give a gift to the ML. people are so ignorant it’s crazy, bunch of woman-haters out here. not safe.
