Honestly him doing that is probably a factor in how easily the public and nobility turned on her when they learned she wasn’t the Saint. In a way, this is sort of like a punishment for the prince more than for Thisbe. Since their childhood, he constantly brought down Thisbe to make connections with other nobles and now those same nobles are ruining everything for him😈

ok nice but i really want the prince to know that one of his underlings ruined his engagement with thisbe due to his blabbering mouth, rather than thisbe just coldly dumping his ass. it keepa bothering me that neither of them know they were BOTH backstabbed by the random idiot barely-assistant ‘NPC’
