The plot makes no sense at all. The investigation is a joke. And the fact that the carriage is unguarded is a joke as well. Her family being that powerless also doesn’t make sense even against a stronger house.
“YOU ARE SENTENCED TO DEATH!” And then 1 second later, turns out that sentence was overturned? Then why bother in the first place? Just skip ahead and don’t waste time like this.
