Sometimes it’s better to take the extra step and actually stay to listen till the end when you’re doubting about a situation, but since koreans love drama, I fear Nereis will not stay till the end of the conversation and just assume what her eyes are seeing right now and walk away… I cannot deny that a part of me would love to see her become cold towards the duke and see him getting desperate to know what happened, but also, sometimes drama can get boring pretty fast!
