… Isn’t that just the dumbest plot device? Suddenly, a journal just found in the nick of time which happens to say she told someone (why would it say that, seriously?) and through that all the dots are suddenly connected? The tea wasn’t tested; Rueban has the more obvious motive; and at most you can “prove” (because who cannot forge a diary no one even thought she kept) she told a child something years ago.
