@Yuniku791 she can’t apologize for the literal and simple reason that those events have not yet happened, so Lyrica DOES NOT REMEMBER THEM. if she apologized now, it would only be to assuage her own guilt and wouldn’t mean anything to Lily. more than an apology, showing that she cares and putting in that effort to be a good mother is more fitting in this situation. if Lily ever remembers their previous life, your point will hold weight. but until the author decides to go that route, we are here watching a mother and daughter strengthen their relationship
It’s telling how in a novel where the lips are drawn very detailed the villainess gets lips that are just a dirty slimy slash across her face. Only dirt comes from that mouth.
