Spoiler Alert: The memory loss of Theodore is done by Katarina with the help of black magic as instructed by Benjamin. The real villain of the story is both Katarina and Benjamin.
The day Fake Eve (scarecrow) dies which was planted by real Eve/Yvonne, Katarina will be imprisoned by Benjamin.
Eve/Yvonne will run away because of big misunderstanding created by by both Theodore and Katarina. Well, I don’t find any justification of all the actions of Theodore because when he gets his memories back and also Eve/Yvonne back, he says that he fell in love with her when she was only Eve and had no memories of Yvonne. I mean literally who bullies the woman you love. The ML is total crack head. Well he will cross every level of being a psychopath after fake Eve/Yvonne dies.
Later, in the final chapters Katarina will be imprisoned again by Theodore and then finally she will die in a war and Benjamin will be punished for his actions. And the sweet Ernst, he suffers the most because of his mother. Ernst has a very long story, he is not a villain but he will be turned into a villain.
