Can’t believe I’m remembering this now.
There was a discussion on Reddit I happened upon. It was talking about how the FL’s in most manwas, manhuas go through a lot than their male counterparts. Take like those where the FL is not treated well by her family and reverses back in time. They seem to get back together and forgives them, as if forgetting all the crap they put her through, which can be a lot.
And even with those ones where the ML (wants to) murder(ed) the FL or cheats on her or abuses her/sees her worth not as much, the FL falls and ends up with them.
And so someone in that discussion brought up how there could be a male dominance in the manh(wa)/(ua) industries that control the narrative of such stories to favor the men in spite of all the shit they do to the FL in such stories.
Is it possible this is what happened with this title, possibly even with its novel counterpart? 🤔
