      Buuuut the second time around the female lead WANTS her scum of a husband to be “stolen”, she even intentionally pushes her frenemy towards this guy that she want’s to divorce from 🙂
      On the other hand, you’re right about the first time – it’s very hard to believe that the female lead had absolutely no idea that her life partner in our world cheated on her with her own best girl friend for years…
      As soon as the female talks to her guy about it, he immediately reacts like trash completely openly, accusing her aggressively; so he couldn’t likely have perfectly acted like a loving partner like a star actor would all this time.

   Well, this manhwa is mostly a cliché plot, but not all that bad. I like it, because there’s no horrible angst and drama, and the art is really nice to look at.
   The female lead is definitely not brainless, even though some of her decisions are quite a bit too risky and too trustful; like towards the male lead, which seems weird, especially after she was betrayed by her former boyfriend (not actual husband, since they did not marry and also didn’t have children).
   The fault lies with the author themselves of course, because some of the events in this manhwa are not well thought-through, and the course of this “I will get a divorce-story” is also way too predictable. At least this is not one of the stupid plots where the female lead cannot break up with a toxic husband, but instead somehow miraculously “turns”/”tames” him into a human puppy…
   The main theme of this manha is at least somehow unique, because the female lead transmigrates together with her former frenemy. And her (evil!) husband in the world where she transmigrates into is then eyed by the exact same person that also “stole” her former despicably cheating man in our modern world.
   The plot that unfolds henceforth is very typical though – the frenemy is set up with the evil violent husband quickly (too quickly actually, because since this is the key aspect, I would have preferred some elaborate schemings), and then the female lead gets tangled up with the male lead right away – at least a nice guy with blond hair, but of course a noble of high status who was supposed to die in the original work by a provoked monster attack that’s actually a trap.
   From this point onwards there’s not much novelty so far as chapter 11. I don’t have high hopes for more creativity, but at least the main couple’s love story seems to proceed nicely with a non-toxic male lead and some power-struggle between noble families.

   @Bonsaitree…… its upto author how they choose to create characters if a character is dumb they’ll be called dumb my takes have nothing to do with gender unlike some ppl who always make it about gender, and we all know well that mostly author give more braincell to male leads than FLs in case of most FL they get cornered because of the dumbest thing and only in 2nd chance when they know the truth they are able to act, author also usually make side characters painfully dumb so main characters can shine, but no matter what I say no matter what my take will be now or in future my image of a hater have been formed for some, so yes anyone who is about to come ignore I also want that ignore me for I will not change I will write what I want and I have no filter.

   You do realize this was a snarky take on a generic revenge manhwa, right? Not a peer-reviewed thesis on the psychological complexities of fictional betrayal. 😅
   But hey if a tongue-in-cheek comment about a webtoon is enough to unleash a monologue longer than the manhwa itself, maybe it did hit a nerve.
   Also calling someone “dumb” while making up words like “entertatining” is a choice. Not judging. Just observing. 👀

   I didn’t say everyone has to agree, nor did I claim the FL is Einstein. I said for a casual read, it’s fine. That’s not a war declaration, that’s just taste and taste is subjective. You’re allowed to hate it, I’m allowed to be entertained. The world keeps spinning.

   Okay but seriously some of you in the comments act like the female lead is out here licking windows and tripping over air. She’s not a genius mastermind, sure, but at least she’s got survival instincts, which is more than I can say for half the armchair critics out there.
   If they were in her place, they’d be dead before chapter two probably trying to reason with the villain while crying about fairness. 🙄
   Yeah, the plot’s not reinventing the wheel, it’s one of those classic revenge stories we’ve all read a dozen times. But who cares? It’s entertaining, it’s messy, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need. Not every webtoon has to cure existential dread, Karen.

    It’s been 5 chaps, one of the major things that makes me continue this is art, that reminds me of fun manhwa our tyrant has become young.
    FL is not smart but dumb with -ve brainpower that’s why she got tricked by someone as dumb as that bitch friend. The villainess is really very dumb and delusional… and can only get lust lorn weak ass men…..
    One thing I really dislike how authors always pull crap that FL was unable to bear the child n all like tf is manhwa logic.
    Her husband is typical manchild who is a creep but simply got power, status and looks to mask it…. he is pathetic man who can be charmed by just any random woman except MC though ik he’ll go run after her after she leaves still…. and bitch friend is a pathetic woman who desires such man.
