I just realized, adele was said to have been the age of just having her debutant so she could very well be 16-18 (something around there based on the age for debutants in other stories) so there likely wouldn’t be much of a age difference between her and the boy if he is the male lead (and his appearance could be due to malnourishment. Especially seeing as he couldn’t seek the help of a palace servant in order to treat his wounds and so he likely is mistreated by everyone in the palace and even those who’d pity him would likely turn a blind eye to it.) Tho mental age gap… Ehhh her longest life was apparently 3 years (if my memory is correct) but even then.. can be a bit iffy depending on the other two lives. Like if she’s 16 in this life, 16+3=19+ whatever years she had in the other two lives that were less than 3.
