@1Seredioity1 how can it be cheating? Do we know when his wife died? And Liana is only 3 years old while his youngest son is 6 years old. Say, the wife died in those 3 years gap, I don’t think it would be cheating if he had romantic entanglement with Liana’s mother. Well, removing into the account that she has a husband. Anyway, I don’t think he’s the biological father. They seem to be just old friends. When he first met Liana, he wasn’t easily accepting of her and he made her an oath not to attack Halyas because she’s a fire mage.

I write the same thing few chapters ago He is around 6 yo, Liana is 3, and those boys mother died during childbirth if im correct or not long after. Duke was dewastated, he propably goes warmonger mode with Liana mother and it propably happens. Then her mother friend help her mother by taking a position of her husband and father of Liana so she wont be disowned or something. And like we see its hard to even adopt other noble children because of emperor so marriage betven them is out of question. Duke propably knows she is his child but tryies to hide it for her safety

Yeah,, about 50% of mangas have weird ratios. No to mention many times ML looks like they are like 3m tall, legs insanely long and when naked they have sculpture of someone like 170-180. If they would be shown in full image they would have legs half they bodies but think like sticks and uper torso from captain america mixed with hulk 😀
