   I’ve read only until chapter 55, so my comments are limited.
   For me, this one is trash. Every chapter I read, it makes my blood boiling, I really want to punch my monitor, I really wished that I dropped it early on, but I kept on reading due to FL character. She’s very knowledgeable in east medicine and smart enough to think a plan to overturn the situation and brave enough to act according to plan, very nice to see.
   The reason for why I hate this series is due to lack of good characters, so far I only saw 3 people whose worth remembering, FL, her step-sister, and the princess with skin disease, that’s it, other than that all characters are so evil, dumb and narcissist.
   The plot, it’s OK, I have to say it’s pretty faithful according to the era with the medical knowledge, the people other than FL is very skeptical, naive and ignorant when they heard about FL medication. It’s great to see that the people are not that barbaric enough to call her a witch, even with all the racist remark towards black hair and black eye. I’m pretty sure this is all due to Black Death disease.
   I don’t know if this series is suitable to be recommended, it’s very annoying to read, not gonna lie, I would rather spend my time reading other series.

   @Af16191 yes I just completed the novel with side stories, and my opinion has changed after reading the novel and I don’t mind Alex being ML, but the only thing which bothered me was, when they made it clear Alex was the male lead, why did they continue with the harem concept and letting her sleep with others side characters? I mean I understand she needs their holy powers to heal her broken soul but there has to be a time limit for it, she sleeps with guys which immense amount of holy powers, itself not like her soul wouldn’t heal until the day she lives? They could set a deadline like 3-5 years is enough max 10 is also fine. Then she could have had her own happy ending with alex. She liked them all I understand that, but it was very clear what she feel for Alex is different, she even wanted others to have their own happiness or start their own family. Alex sacrificed almost everything for her, yaar atleast they deserved to have their own happiness, like a normal couples just like they did in a part of novel when alex forgot his memories, I didn’t like the fact that they had to stay away from each other until the end and will only meet casually once in months, whereas she get to meet other guys almost on regular basis. And if author had the guts to make a guardian fall in love with a baby who wasn’t even born, they should atleast make their relationship public, everyone knew almost about alex and kanna at the end of the novel, they weren’t blood relatives and they loved each other from the beginning, what change would it make if a father like figure loved his own daughter like figure publicly instead of in secret? Nevertheless they were at island of another kingdom nobody knew them, they could have had their own happy ending that was bothered me till the end. They just had to make end as Kanna Addis not just Kanna.

   @ zozoshaikh if u read the novel u will know that there is a reason for everything here including the fact that why her dad Firstly is ml, secondly married with kids and thirdly ignored her etc. it was actually a fine novel I must say. I also hated the fact that she will end up with her dad but then later on many things got clear and I understood things

   Also if they were going to make dad the ML. Why did you let him create a family? I mean he has a wife which looks more like his mother though, still he slept with her produced almost 3 kids with her and not the mention that siblings which had paralysis issue born out of maid. Or idk how many women he was involved with. I mean If making him a ML why not give him a normal background. A married man with 3 young marriageable children 1 kid born out of affair. You can’t just expect readers to accept anybody as ML BECAUSE YOU LIKE HIM TO BE ML.
   Also i read comments sayings its reverse harem but there is no tag, and if she will sleep with many guys, then it clearly needs to have a mature or adult theme tag. Kids shouldn’t be coming across with such stories because they have tags like romance fantasy. This story isn’t for underage kids. This is giving me, someone in her mid 20s hard time understanding how to imagine her with her father and doing all those things. How will to affect the brain of children. Art is indeed beautiful thats why I started reading it also tags were romance and fantasy which are my cup of tea. I avoid harem trope as it breaks my heart to see one person sleeping with many. I feel like it’s cheating. One person should have one partner at a time. Breakup or get divorce and then find another partner. But laying with many at different time doesn’t really fit into my mind.
   Nevertheless, stories like this will end up making me seek therapy i am telling you all.

   I don’t know how many of you noticed it or not but the dad was portrayed too young to be called dad. I always wanted to point it out, i mean I have seen young dads like claude, regis, etc but their daughters were kids or teens but here the FL is a mature woman who is already married for 7 years so she must be in her mid 20 atleast. She also has elder brothers so his father should be in 40/50s. But he looks like some in late 20s not more than that. There no lines or wrinkles except for dark circles to portray his emptiness and emotionless face. So, i always had this thought why is father so young to the point his wife looks elder than him and his children looks more like his siblings. I guess it was author’s way of showing that he will be the end game

    @yesyesnomaybe Please don’t hate on the author. Maybe the author is just highlighting how people can act out of character, not just in one specific place but all over the globe. It’s about showing how weird and unpredictable people can be when nothing makes sense… And it all seems familiar~~

    It’s a fabulous emancipation story, of a woman trapped in a man world, where she had to cling to a man to get out of there. Now she came back and take no shit from anyone and doesn’t easely forgive her abusers. She’s a powerful woman, backed up with intelligent writing of the plot
