@vitrianna but the family benefits from the marriage so there is a decent chance he won’t just let it be cut off, but if she proves to be a better doctor than their level of medicine it could be convincing enough to finalize the divorce on their end because now they basically have someone that could essentially sell their daughter medically speaking to the highest bidder. Especially since she might be curing things deemed impossible by every doctor in the world.
i don’t know the reason why she needs to stay there… she could just ask the father to agree with the divorce, ask for the alimony and money from her family, and live somewhere overseas collecting achievements.
