   as someone with depression with suicidal intentions…. I believe the writer did great research on this. The way the writer’s describes FL’s feelings is from the early stage, when she feels sad for ML’s betrayal; the denial stage, when she hopes he can come back to her; the voices for all the people hating on her; the emptiness stage, when she can no longer have any feelings; the tiredness, feelings of having no one that loves her; and the acceptance stage, which leads her to her final decision.
   For those who make comments, call the FL ignorant for being unable to know or educate herself about her family’s wrongdoing…. It’s not an act of ignorance, it’s an act of avoidance. Deep in ourselves, we know, but don’t want to admit it, coz the pain to admit just way unbearable.
   If FL can die and be able to get back to her past, I might continue. I might drop-off if FL live after her suicidal attempt…., no one deserves to live a life as painful as that

   This story has left me quite wordless and I am still trying to process the end of the most recent chapter as of the 12th of April… I’m not reading the spoilers so this is just how I feel reading only the chapters. This story is really excellently written. It does seem a bit much for some people based on some comments but as someone who has been in an abusive marriage and as someone with a lot of trauma I really love this story. The way it touches on the complexities of the ML’s emotions-which to those that may not understand it are that of someone who was deeply in love on accident, who doesn’t want to acknowledge that, wants to continue the path they were already set out on and resents those feelings they developed on top of resenting the person and their family in which those feelings were directed-it’s well done. For the FL who lived her life blissfully unaware who was victim to this betrayal from the ML who is slowly coming to terms with reality and how little she knew, how everyone hates her and wants her gone, how she didn’t do anything to deserve any of this yet isn’t free from the burden due to her blood and ignorance on the matter-is also well done. The despair you can fall into in these situations, the complex emotions regarding the loss that we see in the chapters not too long ago was well done.

   ~~~~!!SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 15!!: The way her attempt was illustrated was so realistic and the build up to it was really well done. She had been thinking for so long why is she alive and now she felt some sort of acceptance after that meeting, she apologized for her sins as well as the sins of her father, and she was tired.. so tired and ready to be at peace… she felt calm and ready to go. The ML’s feelings for her and understanding of her personality were also very visible in his realizing what she was doing. The way he kept saying no…. It was well done. In my experience in emergencies that are life threatening all you can process is “no” and “I can’t believe this is happening” this whole chapter was well illustrated. !!END OF SPOILERS!!~~

   Honestly, even with the spoilers on how much the ‘ML’ suffered… And I honestly couldn’t care less, I still hate the guy, he’s making suffer someone whose only sin was to be the daughter of the man who hurt him, this poor girl had 0 idea of what was happening outside her home.

   He’s DESTROYING the FL and he deserves all the suffering he can get, he became an abuser, I may pity who he once was but I despise who he is now.

   Having an explanation for someone’s actions doesn’t excuse them. And it certainly doesn’t entitle them to understanding and forgiveness.
   No matter what he’s been through, it doesn’t change what he’s doing right now. he can both be someone who’s been abused and currently be an abuser. It doesn’t change anything he’s done. Doesn’t make it any more okay. Doesn’t mean he’s hurt FL any less.
   Like, sorry about your tragic backstory, bro, but it was still your choice to take it out on your wife.
   There’s a quote I’ve seen, “Cool Motive, Still Murder” i.e. You may feel your actions were justified and you may be sympathetic, but you still did what you did and have to deal with the consequences.

    Okay? Ppl are explaining the novel and the ml but what about it? Lmfao. I don’t understand how it’s suppose to justify anything. It’s understandable how he ended up like bc of his past. And is there anything else we need to know about the fl?

    Bc it makes me laugh when I read someone’s post “Both of them are broken souls.” lmfao I wonder the fck why the fl is a broken soul to began with. Putting aside the ml tragic backstory ain’t he’s the one who made her a broken soul? Give her this trauma… unless she developed trauma before he killed all her loved ones and tarnish her reputation it was him.

    There was so much better ways to end this story but (spoiler warning) why do they need to divorce and remarry to each other? This ending erks me so much when they could’ve took this trauma and perspective story (which is interesting) to them forgiving each other and going their separate ways. I feel like that I would appreciate the story more. If I grew up with no family love then fuck yah remarry my family killer, but if I grew up with supportive and caring family then fuck no. Forgive maybe not forget but nevertheless remarriage and re falling in love? Girl I would never be down bad for a man like that when there’s billions to choose from or the best part staying single and that itself is ok too and understandable.

    “Mommy how did you and daddy met?”

    “Oh silly dear your father hated my family and plotted murder so he approach me and killed them and I fell into depression but he was like naur you can be depressed bc I secretly like you but don’t want to admit it so how I’ll show my love is telling you to suffer with me and only be with me. And yah!”

    So I understand this might be a good story or what not but this isn’t my cup of tea. So I’ll be dropping this.

    I haven’t read the novel and even BEFORE reading the comments of people who have read it, i believed it was something so wrong to judge someone like this. We only saw fl point of view. We don’t know what has happened to ml. I realy hated it when i saw people just giving him hate like that💔

    I have read the novel. It’s heartbreaking but beautiful. Once you knew what happened with the ML in the past, you would understand where he is coming from. Both of them are broken souls. The Ml is full of hatred, bitterness, resentment, insecurities and mental instability and the same time his love for Annette was the only reason he is living.

    nah nvm read the spoilers and this story is just an angsty clusterfuck of the author’s sadistic fantasies. I hate seeing powerless women get treated like dogshit and just fucking take it because everyone around them seemingly brainwashed them into believing they did something wrong, when in actuality, these revolutionaries who claim that they’re ‘saving the kingdom’ are hypocrites. Can you tell im mad lol
    I wish we could watch the MC descent into madness instead, like her becoming unhinged would be so fucking interesting to me. It personally just doesn’t make sense to me that she’s just enduring all this shit without going at least a little bit mad. I don’t know, maybe im secretly a psychopath 🤷‍♀️

    I read the novel up to Ch. 32 & I can tell you that there are heavy topics – a TW is needed. And at this point I just can’t sympathize with “ML”. He put his wife through an ordeal just for his revenge. Nontheless, I think that the novel has been illustrated exceptionally well.
