@Amydra i agree. I never hated him tbh. We have the povs of both. So i never despised him in the least. Haters honestly sounded rather immature prolly teens.
Let’s just reiterate that he tortured the FL for years because…. well, still got nothing that actually explains that.

What horrifies me most is that she’s so psychologically broken that she’s even willing to forgive this utter psychopath as though he deserves it. She should NOT be upset for him, she should be absolutely ENRAGED that he took out his misery on her.

Though many readers dislike the ML, for me, I feel deeply sorry for him. Because he has had tough life since he were young. Having no parents & living as a soldier. And they live during the war situation. He is totaly a broken man who just need to be loved, yet he doesn’t know how to love since no one has taught him. Even the FL didn’t know how to treat a war “victim”. Just hope the author will give him 2nd chance for him to have love life with someone whom he loves so dearly.

Not gonna lie them having an actual conversation was great but the fact that they needed:
✅Abusive marriage
✅Pregnancy
✅Miscariage
✅Few suicide attempts
✅Divorce
✅Separation
✅Living apart
✅An actual war
✅Few death scaries
✅Being MIA
✅Severe injuries
No matter how I look at this, it’s a story of a man who psychologically broke a woman so much that she forgives him for literally ruining her life and goes back to him.
I despise this story so much…
