i like writer very much becasue when i read novel i feel “is it just innocent in the past mean right now she doesn’t have to recoup anythings” and then writer send her to frontline and made me feel in the past she’s not ignorant rich girl. she is truely innocent that when she’s know her mistake she’ll never done the same.
@Goaties while I don’t disagree on the Frontlines thing not being good. It isn’t about that it’s about her making her own choices. Instead of cowering like Heiner assumes she does she’s keeping her head high and wanting to help other people whether because of guilt or not. She isn’t crying in fear or acting privileged she’s accepted her life and working for the better of others. Heiner only sees her as a spoiled noblewoman incapable of doing anything on her own.

To me, the fact she is having to volunteer as a war nurse to placate the sense of self-guilt Heiner installed in her does not seem like a good thing…
