I see you commenting on every chapter defending the ml and the story. Ik u like this manhwa just like how me and the other ppl who r reading this do, but just bc you like it doesn’t mean you have to justify all the actions. U can like the ml but still hold him accountable for what he did.
We know his life was hard. We know he suffered a lot to be where he is rn and we know that fls father is partially responsible for what happened to him but is it really necessary for him to take out his hatred on the fl?
It’s understandable why the public feels that way towards the fl even if it’s wrong but him? He’s her husband and he knows she wasn’t responsible for anything, heck she wasn’t even aware of anything so he has no right to make her suffer like this.
She isn’t responsible for what happened to him in the camp. She didn’t even know him. It’s literally not her fault that he endured hardships to get a high rank cuz he liked her. It’s was his own choice alone so it’s selfish of him to try to take revenge on her on things that she didn’t have a say in and wasn’t aware of.
Since he is the ml he’s eventually going to have a redemption arc so I will be waiting for him to change, but its not okay to justify everything he did to her.
sure this is terrible, but emotionally abusing a woman just bc she was a daddy’s girl and blind to the attrocities commited by her freakshow dad is a fucking stretch. HE was the one that fell in love with her, HE decided to join this orphan hunger games, and HE decided to marry the girl. I’m sick and tired of men thinking they deserve ownership of women and then blame that same woman when he ends up getting fucked up. Play stupid games, get stupid prizes.
I love this story, do not get me wrong. I enjoy angst and regardless of the ending (if they end up together or not) this is a great nuanced story. I just refuse to feel sympathy for him rn.
Y’all need to quit searching for a reason to blame her for the things she been through. She was innocent from the beginning and even helped him achieve the revolution coasting the life of her family. It’s not like she did something bad, her reality was different and that’s all to it. Her father was absolute trash and the guy been through hell but she didn’t make anything bad. I understand his anger and I’m always in the side of the revolutionaries cuz royal families sucks but blaming her for not predicting what was happening it’s just too much
Oh boy I read the whole novel, this is just the beginning, we’re in for a whole ride on the fucked up shit this guy goes through, y’all with now understand why his mentality ended up going shit and not understanding exactly what he feels for her, she ain’t innocent either because of her ignorance. But she didn’t deserve the treatment he gave her before she left, y’all let me just tell you, things are about to get absolutely worse
I knew it. It’s understandable that he hates the woman he loves for being the daughter of such asshole. But just as he needs to learn adn react that she is not her father, she needs to understand that to her, her father was a kind, loving man while for the rest of the world he was a piece of shit and learn to love and forgive as well as make a stand so they know she’s not her father
