Honestly, this is pretty understandable.
She has a disease that has left her magically crippled, forsaken by her parents, and will ultimately kill her. She has a form of confirmation that what she will try won’t work.
I’m not saying she is justified, only I can follow the emotional process the lead is feeling to lead her to that choice.
Although the thoughts she just had are horrible, it could be her desperation taking over and so whether or not she actually sacrifices an innocent is still left for debate
Still it is not a cure tho , she said halt and not cure the disease , so is just a Temporarily solution . Her disease sounds very fishy . I think is not what her tought about it .
