I don’t really care if it’s guilt or anything, she abandoned her sick child who was possibly only 8 or 9 at the time and only looked for her when it benefits her. She pulled away and left Arabella on her own in the palace, a place where someone can die at any moment due to political schemes and focused solely on her next child. There’s really no justification for it, she’s not her mother and should never be considered so in the future. The only feasible way this could be forgiven is if her mom passed it down genetically and somehow being close with arabella would kill ara faster. Still tho even in that situation she couldve written letters to ara so it’s still unforgivable
