A child yearns for love instinctively.
Some people are even more so by nature.
And I guess this child was one the type who needs extra care and attention.

When he is deprived of love which is like oxygen to a child, not only does it not help him grow properly, it causes quite a few disorders in its nature/personality.
And one of the worst consequences is that there is no way for said person to learn how to love either.

The void is there.
The thirst has never been quenched, so it has worsened through time.
Its like a green landscape turning into a blazing desert little by little over time.
He wants love.
He wants to love as well.
But has always been deprived of what he needed the most.
As if he was the one at fault for some other people’s misery!
An innocent child bearing the sins of the negligent, self-righteous adults.

Not only does it not get any better as the time goes by, it gets worse.
To the point he no longer knows what love truly is, despite yearning for it desperately.
That is when the unquenched thirst turns into obsession.
Being obsessed DOES NOT MEAN HE DOESNT WANT LOVE!
It does not mean he is over it.
It does not mean the void isn’t there, or it has been filled with something else.
HE STILL NEEDS LOVE.
He wants it and it is his oasis of life.
However,
He needs to UNDERSTAND WHAT LOVE IS FROM SCRATCH.
Unfortunately, due to the harsh environment the poor child had to endure, he NEVER GOT THE SLIGHTEST CHANCE.
He had fancied Bianca from those very days when he desperately yearned for love.
But she was sent to some other man. (And I for one am still unsure whether her father’s decision was sensible TBH.)
Thus, the quenching thirst went ablaze!
There is no way to calm such an individual down other that to give him what he wants, and it was impossible in this case.
Thats how he lost his sanity, for the mere reason of being deprived of love and wanting it more than his own life.
If this is not sad, if one does not feel bad for such a fate then they should question their humanly nature. As the famous saying goes, ‘Human is no more without compassion’.

And like another famous saying,
‘Love is the treasure, an eternal oasis, yet it is free; never ending and never decreasing, Thus the easiest to share to the whole world!’
That makes you wonder even more when you see an innocent child deprived of something he/she absolutely needs while it costs nothing to share at all!!

i hate jacob.. that’s never going to changed.. but, the reason behind of him being like that, because of the parents who neglect him, neglect his feelings and a mother’s greed, just do what she wants, not knowing the feelings he felt.. that’s why jacob is being like that,, longing also for real true love that he never felt even on his own family😤..!!
I understand the hate comments towards Jacob but it’s just sad because Jacob is also a victim of his mother’s greed. He wanted a simple life but even that was taken away from him. His father, although did not treat him harshly but never showed love to him. I understand that the king was r*ped and did not expect Jacob’s existence but the child is not at fault. The mother is the one to blame,such a filthy mother. His pain was not explained well. And I guess his love for bianca is not really true love but just a mere obsession. Anyway,he ended just like his mother
Tho Jacob is a villain, I don’t think he deserved to die, his childhood is so tragic that results to what he is now, the emperor didn’t love him like his two siblings, his mother is selfish that she forgotten that she have a son that she needs to take care of, I just hope the author didn’t gave him pain and unhappiness till the end, i know his actions are unforgivable but villains became villains bcs its not they want to.. What a sad end for Jacob..
