Blanchefort family is directly involved with the prince first in line to the throne. Count Blanchefort said that the 2nd prince is someone who will do anything he can to get the things he desire. Maybe that is one of the reasons why he drove his daughter as far as he can from the capital and married her off to a man that can protect her. Zachary is a war hero, so even after the owner of the throne changes, they can’t just attack his territory. His daughter can be used against him if he shows his affection towards her, so he never contacted her to make it seem like she’s not important to him. Maybe Count Blanchefort also prefer if his daughter will hate him so it would be easier for Bianca to abondon him when the time comes.
The father sure has his reasons for treating his daughter like that. I am really sure that he is trying to protect her from something. He loves his daughter so much that he is willing to take any risks just to protect her, even if the risk is her daughter hating and resenting him. I’m very very sure of it that he loves his precious daughter. It’s just so sad that Bianca believes his father doesn’t love her. Please, make up already.
