She is traumatized so it’s normal for her to feel tahat way and to think that way! And it’s true that her father didn’t intend to do that but damn she’s spilling some facts HAHAHAH

Also, “Count Blanchefort seems like he truly adores Bianca but he’s keeping it in”. The two times he’s spoken about her, all he did was mention her mother. There’s someone he definitely adores. I wouldn’t say it “seems” to be Bianca, at least not yet. Not a single chapter has shown him “adoring” her, it may be shown in the future but certainly not yet.

you took the words out of my mouth… you’re so cool

The excuses are really convenient to the plot, but break apart when you think about it for even a minute.
“if he showed affection they’d use her against him” they’re going to do that anyways, and they will do that, and they did do that. He just made is so that his daughter felt abandoned and defenceless at the same time she was being used. It’s odd, he could think so far into the future that marrying off his 9yo was a good long term plan, but he didnt think talking to her or warning her was useful when she grew up and is apparently in jeapordy.
“He loves her but had to get her away from there” his plan in the event of his failure and death was literally “?? idk figure it out i guess, just dont expect anything from us”. Very loving, right? Also hey, you know what works if you love your daughter and also want to get her away from the capital? Not using her as a tool by marrying her to someone who will become enemy no.1 of a rivaling prince. He loved her so much he put a target on her back, isn’t that very effective? Could have married her to a foreign countryman if all he wanted was to get her away, but no. She is secondary, first is getting the hero a title through marriage so we can play throne games.
(Ps: what im saying is, he definitely had his reasons, they’re all shaky and readers can dislike his character because he prioritises country over family)

I’m not sure though. Count Blanchefort seems like he truly adores Bianca but he’s keeping it in. Even Zachary is not aware of the reason why Count Blanchefort sent his daughter to him.

Blanchefort family is directly involved with the prince first in line to the throne. Count Blanchefort said that the 2nd prince is someone who will do anything he can to get the things he desire. Maybe that is one of the reasons why he drove his daughter as far as he can from the capital and married her off to a man that can protect her. Zachary is a war hero, so even after the owner of the throne changes, they can’t just attack his territory. His daughter can be used against him if he shows his affection towards her, so he never contacted her to make it seem like she’s not important to him. Maybe Count Blanchefort also prefer if his daughter will hate him so it would be easier for Bianca to abondon him when the time comes.

The father sure has his reasons for treating his daughter like that. I am really sure that he is trying to protect her from something. He loves his daughter so much that he is willing to take any risks just to protect her, even if the risk is her daughter hating and resenting him. I’m very very sure of it that he loves his precious daughter. It’s just so sad that Bianca believes his father doesn’t love her. Please, make up already. I am hoping to see a father-daughter bonding soon… including the brother which is obviously a doting brother to his precious sister. ❤❤❤

“Do you remember that you had a daughter like me?” He had a card, and he played it. Aint that sad.

It hurts when she said, “when my nanny died, you werent concerned about me”. It really drove home that she was all alone when her nanny died. She was just a kid jeez
Riley16
I don’t care whatever reasons he had for saying those words and treating her the way he does, he doesn’t deserve to name himself as her father. What a trash
Latin Rose
? next panel she dreamed the confrontation with her father ?. It would be nice if she actually said what she feels to her father.
B00MER

F … honestly I can’t think of a single thing that would excuse his neglect. Loving fathers would tell their daughters they could always come home, they would write, they would at least ask the husband how the daughter is doing. This man is trash. Poor Bianca. She was sold off, and her father didn’t care. All he cared about was his son. And in her past life maybe she thought if they hadn’t died they would have accepted her back, but now she knows that was a false hope. She was alone. Ugh. Pain is right.
