I hate the excuse of being distant and neglecting your family because you secretly worry about them. There are different way to explain your intentions without the other people getting neglected. People take the “end justified the mean” too much. They are just willful and choosing to do things their own way without taking people’s feeling inconsideration. People’s, “good intentions” doesn’t negate other’s suffering. I hope the plot doesn’t make the FL forgives people easily but I fear, the plot will do so. It’s a fact that she was used as a political pawn to strengthen the first prince’s position, and she was a child bride with no family support from both sides.
Rereading this and….why is the brother mad? Is he wrong? His little sister married an adult war hero while she was 9 years old. Where is the lie? Just because he’s such an amazing soldier, doesn’t mean the Prince’s words were wrong. (Obviously the Prince is a little shit with bad intentions, but his words hurt because they were true.)
I think Bianca’s dad is trying to protect her from predators like the 2 Princes thats why he married her off early since he’s so close to the royal families and he’s always away for battlefield while his older brother at that time was still young and can’t completely protect her. Well, still his actions was still wrong knowing Bianca at that time was only 9 yrs old.
I think he really trust Zachary to entrust her daughter to him. The first prince are not what I expected him to be, so I guess I can’t blame Bianca’s father. It’s better to make her live far away from the capital. ?
They have a Big age gap? As well as for the height… The FL looks so small beside the ml… Maybe there’s a reason why the father of Bianca seems to be distant and cool towards her. I like thist story, it is way more realistic and it fits for the time it takes place. I mean early marriage with a much older man, her behavior, the need of an heir and so on…
