So not only are women not allowed to be knights in this world, which could probably be overlooked cause of her family name, but since she scammed the imperial family, she can’t just say who she is
The thing is, even as I’m re-reading this, I still don’t understand how revealing her identity as a woman would ruin her household name. Yeah I understand women have no rights in this world, but she literally WON the war. Wouldn’t they be surprised and more thankful towards her knowing she was a woman doing all of that? She would’ve went down in history.
But I guess the only way for there to be a plot is for there to be no logic.
Yeah, the setup would have been so much better if he had just put someone there to watch the shop, he knows what they both look like and it would have made the scene a bit smarter

because he doesn’t know that he is actually a she? She has said it multiple times that if there is even a hint that she was fighting then her entire house can be destroyed which would ruin her brother’s life for literally no reason.
