I think it’s reasonable since ML is a commoner and has gained a big reputation from the king. Astin and FL actually don’t mind it, so no one incurs losses here.
Not really. It would be more understandable if the king bestowed the ML a new title and not the FL surrendering her family name to a guy she just met. Don’t get me wrong I like the leads but they could have just given the title to the FL its basically giving a stranger your family name AND your family property.
