Y’all are projecting darlings, as the story suggest THIS IS A NOVELLA so the plot can be altered, they are an alternative reality of the story …also HARMFUL STEREOTYPE?? nobody is promoting anything against lgtb ……now you are censoring the creative freedom of the authors??? Wow these woke people needs to always ruin others enjoyment with their bitterness and political correctness
@juneth Yeah thats not how that works.. Its easier to look at it as a spectrum rather than whatever you think being gay means. You dont turn it on or off its just how you are and sometimes you learn things or get the chance to be more open and explore and that leads you to discovering new parts of yourself. So yeah nobody is “turning” anything. Its insane to me that people still belive the choosing sexuality thing. Like sure yeah and every single straight person sat down and chose to be straight after giving it some thought.

Even if the author/artist didn’t intend for it to happen, they are promoting the harmful stereotype that people are only gay because of trauma and “meeting the right person can make them better”, if the artist wanted the ML to be bi, they should specify that instead of making it seem like the FL made him go back to being straight by being nice to him.
Why yall act like sexuality cant be a choice? Some people choose to become gay, others can suddenly turn bisexual if they meet someone that they fall for, some even pansexual. The setting may be unrealistic but cmon what do you expect on a romance webtoon created by someone who is born into a culture and society that isn’t as “liberated” as the west?
Ah sry termy, to elaborate, when bl settings in het novels first came out, ppl made excuses that the ML may have been demi asexual or even bi. And it would have been plausible for a couple (not that any authors clarified or acknowledged this). BUT NOT ONCE has there been characters that “remain” gay in these. No excuse anymore and it really, really bothers me. Gay chooses you not the other way around! Why even have bl settings if not a single gay person is present?!!
I understand what Honey is saying but actually no it was never okay for these manwha’s to imply that gay people are only gay because they’ve been abused and if they just had a positive relationship with a girl, they’d be straight.
Pls no once or twice was okay but I don’t like the trend of “straighting” gay characters. It hardly adds to the story and the ogML and protag both fall for FL suddenly 🙄 also, more child abuse? It’s a LOT!
