I will never get the trope of hating your own kid… I mean, she might not be normal but, how many people have you seen that have “defective” sons and daughters our there that do even what people might think impossible for them to have a better life, a better chance, a good and better future? I do know that there are others that don’t give a damn about their sons and daughters but they are not the rule, they are the exception… So, this kind of trope really makes me angry!
