pfffft something tells me this family doesn’t really give a crap about using relationships to strengthen their political power which is probably why the king allowed the marriage and why the mother was so gung-ho about marrying her off. It was more important to them, as family members, to end the single life of FL who has been very vocal about staying single and something about that is hilariously cute. Fl couldve ran away at any time tbh but it was important to her to make her mom happy. I love the family relationships here.
