I hate these story where FL leaves her bad families but then the stories keep dragging the old families into her lives, whether it’s to show people’s remorse or to create extra drama to show that the FL is oh so sweet and lovely.
Yeah no, why can’t I just have a story where the FL starts over and just deal with new people. Toxic people should be completely cut off if you have the chance. Stop romanticizing “forgive and forget”.

He refuses to believe that Karina is sick, that she would write such a letter, that she has ever suffered in that house. Such a a father- no, such a family, is sickening. It may look like the Count and the Countess are the only ones at fault, but her siblings also had a part in making Karina’s life a nightmare. They all noticed how differently Karina was being treated yet did absolutely nothing to help her. Even if Karina doesn’t have long to live, I’m sure that she’ll her happiest memories will be made at her fiance’s residence!
